Choose the work your business needs.

Website or store

Start with the action your customer needs to take. A service website can explain the offer and collect a brief. A catalogue helps buyers compare options. A store adds product selection, delivery rules and checkout. We choose the platform after understanding who will edit it and which systems it must connect to.

A simple coded site starts at €500, a custom website at €1 000 and a store at €2 000. Content, languages, integrations and external subscriptions are agreed in the proposal.

Identity and applications

A logo, a full identity and a brandbook solve different problems. List the applications needed for launch: website, proposals, packaging, signage or social templates. We can then quote the materials the team will actually use and coordinate them with the website.

A logo starts at €500, an identity at €1 000 and a brandbook at €2 000. Production, third-party licences and extra applications are included only when named in the scope.

Design around the customers your Portuguese business can serve

A website for a business in Portugal can serve very different audiences: residents comparing a local service, international customers planning a visit, or procurement teams assessing a supplier. Start with the sale you want to support. What must a buyer understand, which details affect the decision, and what can your team actually deliver? We use those answers to plan the offer, page structure and enquiry process before selecting a platform.

A local service

For a service delivered in person, publish the real service area, visiting arrangements and conditions for travel. A company accepting appointments at one location needs a different contact flow from a contractor visiting customer premises. If you only cover part of a region, explain that boundary clearly. A postcode or area can help qualify an enquiry without asking for a full personal address before it is needed. Avoid listing every Portuguese city when the business cannot fulfil those requests.

A business selling across regions

For a supplier working nationally or internationally, the website should explain capabilities, relevant work and the information needed for an estimate. Product specifications, project requirements and approval stages may matter more than proximity to an office. We can connect service descriptions with appropriate portfolio examples and a short brief. HeadPills works remotely from Wrocław, Poland; this page does not represent a local Portuguese office or claim projects we have not delivered.

English and European Portuguese need a complete customer journey

Choose the first audience
English may be suitable when your actual buyers use it and your staff can continue the conversation. A Portuguese version may be essential to the audience you want to reach. We do not assume that every business needs the same language mix. Review recent enquiries, the offer you are launching and the channels you plan to use. Select the first version on that evidence, then budget for additional versions that the business can maintain.
Review the full journey
For Portugal, arrange review of European Portuguese terminology and the way your industry describes its services. That includes navigation, prices, form labels, errors and confirmation messages, not just the main paragraphs. Product names and professional terms need particular attention. The proposal identifies who supplies the translation and who approves it. Native Portuguese copywriting is not silently included in an English-language design scope; we implement the agreed, reviewed materials.
Keep versions consistent
Give each language its own accessible URLs and a visible switch. A visitor should be able to choose the appropriate version instead of being forced into one based only on location. When a service or price changes, someone needs to update each published version. We plan the content model and responsibilities around this work so that the second language does not become an abandoned copy after the launch.

Payment and delivery choices belong in the scope before checkout design

  1. Confirm the seller and provider

For an online store, first identify the selling business, product categories and payment provider requirements. MB WAY and MULTIBANCO payment references are options to assess for a Portuguese audience, but availability depends on the provider, merchant account and integration. A platform badge is not proof that your business is eligible or that the desired method is active. We verify the intended setup before showing it as a working option in the checkout.

  2. Define fulfilment boundaries

Write down where you deliver and how charges and timings are calculated. Mainland Portugal, Madeira, the Azores and international destinations may require different rules from your chosen carrier. Do not promise one delivery time simply because the checkout accepts all addresses. Collection, unavailable products, oversized items and products made to order also need explicit handling. These operational decisions determine the fields, messages and exceptions the shop must support.

  3. Test the complete order

Test a successful order, failed payment, repeated payment notification and a delivery address outside the service area. Confirm what the buyer receives and what the team sees in its order system. Refunds and cancellations need a responsible person and an agreed process. A store is ready when the business can complete these actions reliably, rather than when a test product merely reaches a visually polished basket.

Give service pages enough evidence to support an enquiry

A service page should answer a recognisable question: what is included, who it suits, what changes the cost, and how to begin. Broad statements about quality are difficult to evaluate. A specific example of the required input or a documented project is more useful. We distinguish work in the portfolio from illustrative scenarios and avoid presenting another market's project as a Portuguese client engagement.

Information for a first-time buyer

A new buyer may need an explanation of the process, the people involved and the information to prepare. Show those details in sections they can scan, using a comparison when there are genuine alternatives. Photographs, diagrams and sample deliverables should clarify the offer. We can start from your current material, identify the gaps and include writing or production in the proposal where it is needed.

Information for a returning customer

A returning customer may be looking for an updated specification, a current price or the right contact for another order. Make these practical destinations easy to reach. If information changes frequently, agree who edits it and which fields belong in the CMS. Designing around those recurring tasks helps the website remain useful after the initial campaign, instead of becoming a brochure that only the original developer knows how to update.

Prepare business information and data handling for the actual operation

Before publication, identify the operator information, customer terms and privacy material required for the particular business. For activities within scope, check the applicable Livro de Reclamações requirements using ASAE guidance and appropriate professional advice. We provide the agreed places and links in the website; the owner confirms applicability and the approved wording. Reusing a policy from another company is not a substitute for describing your own operation.

Trace the route of a contact form or order: website, form provider, email, CRM, payment service and any analytics. Decide which fields are necessary and who can access the result. Required cookie choices and retention settings depend on the implemented tools and applicable rules. This review should happen before third-party widgets are added throughout the design, because removing an unsuitable dependency late can change the customer journey.

Documents must match the implemented service

Keep the technical and professional responsibilities clear in the proposal. We can implement reviewed information and agreed data flows, while legal or tax determinations remain with qualified advisers and the business. That division also helps maintenance: when a new booking or payment service is introduced, its effect on the website's notices, controls and instructions must be considered alongside the visual change.

Compare proposals by the work and ownership you receive

  • Scope and total cost

Compare the number of distinct page templates, content preparation, languages, integrations and editing requirements. Count recurring platform, hosting and service fees separately from the build. Our starting prices describe different scopes; a large catalogue and a focused service page are not interchangeable at the same price. The written estimate should show what is ready for launch, what depends on your materials and which additions would change the budget.

  • Acceptance and continuity

At handover, check a real customer path on a phone and ask a member of the team to edit an ordinary item. Confirm domain and account ownership, access permissions, delivered source material and how to recover from a failed update. If there is an existing website, map useful old URLs to their replacements and test the redirects. Support after delivery should have explicit responsibilities rather than depend on an informal assumption that someone is watching.

  • A useful first brief

For an initial estimate, send your current URL, target customers, languages, available material and the next action you want visitors to take. Explain any deadline and the systems you already use. We can then suggest a workable first release and appropriate next steps. After launch, measure useful enquiries and completed sales processes alongside search performance; publication alone cannot promise a position in Google or a predictable number of new clients.

Questions

Questions about working together

Can a business in Portugal hire HeadPills remotely?

Yes. We are based in Wrocław, Poland. Project communication, previews and approvals can take place online in English. The written proposal states the scope, price, responsibilities and handover.

Do you provide native Portuguese copywriting?

It is not assumed in our standard scope. If Portuguese pages or applications are needed, agree who prepares and reviews them. We can implement reviewed language versions alongside English.

Should we choose a website or branding first?

If the existing identity works, we can use it for the website. If a new identity is needed for launch, we agree the core mark, colours and typography before applying them to the site. The two scopes are priced explicitly.
